Privacy Notice

This Workplace Privacy Notice (“Notice”) describes how we collect, use and disclose certain information about its personnel in connection with your provision of services to us. While this Notice is global in nature, our goal is to meet the requirements in each province and or country where contestants are located.

This Notice focuses on individuals who work for us, including officers and directors, whether employed by us or not. It also focuses on individuals who we contract to work for us, or on our or third parties’ productions. This includes contractors, those in production roles, such as designers, production assistants, camera crew etc. and also those working on-screen, be it as extras or featured performers, as well as our voiceover artists. Third parties involved in a Production may independently collect your personal information directly from you and may use it in accordance with their own privacy policies, with which you should familiarize yourself.

In addition, this Notice also covers information on former employees/workers and those who we have previously contracted to work for us or on our or third parties’ productions. In this Notice, we refer to this broader group of individuals as ‘employees’ for ease. We invite you to read this Notice together with any other applicable privacy notices.

Why we need your contact information and how we use it.

  • Contact Information (such as your name, telephone number, photo, email address, physical address, and the name, telephone, email address and physical address of your designated emergency contact) in order to contact you with relevant information, to contact you or others on your behalf for all the purposes identified in this Notice, to confirm worker eligibility under applicable union agreements, and to notify you or your next of kin in the event of a work-related accident or illness.
